Willard F. Clark, 94, died on April 4, 2024. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on July 4, 1929 as Willard Henry Francis Jr. His name was changes when his mother, Helen P. Francis remarried following the death of his father. He lived most of his secondary school years in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. In Pittsburgh, Pa., he met and married his wife, Nena Clark, on 9/8/1950. They were married for 73 good years. He got degrees from the U. of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Institute of Technology. After 2 years in the service, they moved to Ft. Wayne. He worked for 50 years for ITT and its successor companies as an Electrical Engineer.
He like reading and the outdoors, hiking and canoeing. He was especially fond of the West. He was a long time member of ACRES. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation.
Willard is survived by sons Luis deVeyra, Stephen Clark, Neil Clark and Philip Clark, and by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and brother Ronald.
