Victor "Vic" Edmond was bon March 5th, 1957 to Ezelle Manley Cobb and Robert Edmond in East Chicago, IN.

Vic left this world on March 31st at home after a long battle with cancer. Vic worked at Stonhard where he retired July 2021.

Vic loved his sports especially the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He was a hard working man. He loved his family especially his wife Denise, who he first dated in 1979. They married August 8th, 2014. Vic and Denise had 3 sons together. Robert III who preceded him in death, Victor Lewis and Tavares Edmond, a step-daughter Constance "Connie" Lewis. Vic was an outspoken, truthful man with a good heart and sweet gentle soul. He took good care of his home and was crazy about the grandbabies. He and Denise were the definition of soul mates. Surviving are his wife Denise Lewis Edmond, Sons Victor Lewis, Tavares Edmond, a step-daughter Constance "Connie" Lewis. A brother Ezekiel Battle Jr., Grandchildren Shamika Lewis Branson, Dajhon Lewis Branson, Autumn Lewis, Victor Lewis III, Arianna Lewis, and Maurice Lewis Cross.

He is also survived by brother-in-law Aurthur Anderson Sr. (Edna Battle- Anderson), sister-in-law Debra Addison (Leonard), brother-in-law Paul Lewis, sister-in-law Eileen Turner, sister-in-law Annie Lewis, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ezelle Manley Cobb and Robert Edmond. a son Robert Edmond III, Brother Corinthian Edmond Sr. Sister Edna Anderson. Brother Robert Edmond Jr, step-brother Ricky Reed. Brother-in-law David "Bo" Lewis, Mother-in-law Constance Griffin, and Sister-in-law Paulette Lewis.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. There will be a service held on Friday April 5th, at Midwest Funeral Home 1415 Coliseum Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN, 46808. Visitation from 1-3pm with a service to follow after.
